Science Career Exploring is a hands-on program open to young men and women 14-20 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the fields of Science.
Today, more than ever before, the science profession is experiencing workforce shortages across the board. You will have the opportunity to experience firsthand what it's like to be on the cutting edge of scientific discoveries and so much more!
ELANCO & COVANCE – POST #75
The Greenfield Labs Science Post is jointly hosted by Elanco and Covance in Hancock County. The Post provides STEM-related programs for Explorers with career topics in Veterinary Science, Medical Research and Pharmaceutical Development. Post activities also include the annual Community Service at Greenfield ReStore of Habitat for Humanity. The upcoming open houses will feature the popular program Chemistry is a Blast and Forensic Science.

ELI LILLY & CO. – POST #40 & CLUB #41
The Lilly Exploring program provides Explorers from 6th – 12th grade with information about different career areas through tours, guest speakers, discussions and hands-on experiences. Some of these topics discussed include forensics, chemistry and neuroscience. The Lilly Indy Science Post will meet once a month throughout the school year with qualified, successful men and women who work in a wide variety of science related areas. Here is a unique opportunity to meet a number of scientists face-to-face.
